EDITH HIVES On December 23, 1999, Edith Hives of Edmonton, formerly of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 98 years. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters, Ruby Bagot (William) of Edmonton, AB, Ina Panz of Vancouver, BC; and daughter-in-law Alfreda Hives of Coquitlam, BC; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces and relatives; and her dear friend Lottie. She was predeceased by her daughter Bertha in 1990, son Norman in 1993 and her husband Herbert in 1995. A private family memorial service has been held in Edmonton. Cremation has taken place and Ediths final resting place will be with her husband Herbert at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, MB, in the Spring of 2000.
