BETTY DIANE PORTEOUS After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Betty passed away peacefully on January 9, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital, in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her mother Bernice Goodfellow. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ken; daughter Jamie; father Don Goodfellow of Flin Flon, MB; sister Donna (Bill) Verabioff of Kamsack, SK, brother Jim (Donna) Goodfellow of Flin Flon, Joanne (Rob) Robinson of Flin Flon, and Bev (Darren) Warren of Winnipeg, and nieces and nephews whom she adored. She worked at Price Waterhouse, Scarrow and Donald, and most recently with Craig Ross. Her family and friends will always cherish her memory. At Bettys request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. The family would like to thank the Oncology staff, 3rd floor nurses and Dr. Ian Maxwell for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, Betty has requested that donations be made to the Victoria Hospital Oncology Development Fund, care of Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy.
