Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE ERLA POST Peacefully on January 22, 2000 at the Betel Home, Selkirk, Nettie Post, aged 77 years, a lifelong resident of Selkirk, MB. Nettie was born in Selkirk on February 17, 1922 and had lived there all her life. She was a longtime member of the St. John Ambulance and had been employed at the Monarch Overall Factory, Sarbits and the Selkirk Mental Health Centre. Nettie was a kind and compassionate person. She enjoyed photography, travelling and making her own clothes. She was an excellent seamstress and made all the up-to-date fashions. She also enjoyed times spent with family and friends and would always do something special for such occasions, such as making a cake. Nettie will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Barbara (Peter) Helask, Doreen Cooper, Wayne (Noreen) Johnson and Patricia (Roger) Stagg; and their families; and her many friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Rev. barb janes officiating. A private family interment will follow at the St. Clements Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Netties memory to the St. Johns Ambulance or to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the staff at the Betel Home for all their excellent care.
