SHIRLEY MAY RAIKE Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Shirley May Raike passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at the age of 59. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob; children, Cindi (Gerry), Alan, Jerry (Michelle), Kendall (Michelle) grandchildren Christopher, Carla, Stephen and Tyler; her mother Vida Le Roux; three brothers; two sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank the staff of the 5th floor, St. Boniface Hospital, a special thanks to Marina for being a support to the family; and to the many family and friends who have helped. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
