Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCE EMILY RANDELL (ROMAN) (nee PRYSTUPA) August 25, 1940 - January 19, 2000 It is with great sorrow, after a brief illness, with her family at her side, Joyce passed away peacefully. She is survived by her four loving children, Debbie (Curtis) Cobbett, Darrin Roman of Calgary, Colleen (Thomas) Ritter and Robin (Debbie) Roman; her husband, Paul; her mother, Stella Prystupa; sisters and brothers, Lyvia (Phil) Gold of Richmond, B.C., Eunice (Allan) Flatt and Steven Prystupa; her grandchildren, Chris and Mandi Cobbett, Nicole and Neil Ritter, Scott, Steven and Tristan Roman all of Winnipeg as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Alex in 1984 and her brother, Vic in 1994. Before her move to Calgary, Mom was a very active member of the Transcona Jaycettes and curled at the Transcona Country Club. Mom moved to Calgary in 1977 with her family, she worked at Revenue Canada from 1979 to the present time. Mom enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden, camping, as well as with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She loved animals and was a very warm and loving person, who was generous to her family, friends and strangers. Her family and friends will always remember her for her wonderful Ukrainian cooking, her warm smile and infectious laugh. We will miss you Mom and Grandma and will Love you Forever.
