JESSIE PROTASIEWICZ Peacefully, on February 3, 2000, at Central Park Lodge, Jessie passed away into the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Jessie was 83 years of age. To meet on her very short journey will be her loving husband, Victor who predeceased her in 1987, as well as five brothers and one sister. Jessie will remain cherished in our memories by her daughter, Vicky (Lloyd) Safnuk; son, Adam (Helen) Sedor and daughter, Lorrie (Jim) Carlisle. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nancy (Uche) Ogowa, Wendy (Allan) Hill, Shelli (David) Beaton, Scott (Anita) Sedor, Todd (Marnie) Sedor, Tracey (Ed) Kulyk, James (Petra) Carlisle and Jody (Dana) Kuzyk. She also leaves her sisters, Eva Grcevich, Emily Fedyszyn (Victor) brother, Kenneth; great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Throughout Jessies life she asked for little, but gave her heart and soul to her and her husbands family. There was never a time that Jessie would turn anyone away in a time of need. The family believes that Jessies happiest moments were spent with her husband, relatives and friends in Cooks Creek, Manitoba. There were many times that she and her friends enjoyed playing cards, bingo and attending celebrations. We sincerely wish to thank the 7th floor staff at Central Park Lodge, and in particular, Shelby, Heidi, Jean, Lolita and Lucy. They are the most caring people we have ever met. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. We will all miss and always love you Mom. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
