FRANSISCO SCERBO It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Fransisco Scerbo, at the age of 89, on February 4, 2000 in Buenos Aires Argentina. Fransisco was born at the Misericordia Hospital, in Winnipeg, MB on November 25, 1910. His grandfather Antonio, along with his father Guisseppe and uncle Pietro, were the first known on record, to immigrate to Canada from Amato, Italy. In 1913, Fransiscos parents decided to move to Italy. There, Fransisco volunteered for the army and served in Spain, Africa and India. He returned to his family after the Second World War. In 1947, Fransisco, his wife Maria and their children, immigrated to Buenos Aires. This became his new home. He was predeceased by his wife Maria in 1990; his brothers, Saverio 1940 and Antonio 1993; his son-in-law Fransisco Campeon (Concetta) and great-grandchild Lucas Ugrin.
