MICHAEL BEDA Peacefully, surrounded by his family, Mike passed away on February 12, 2000 at the age of 71 years. He will be sadly missed by Julie, his loving wife of 47 years; his daughters, Shelley (Albert) Bothorel, Beverley (Jean) Cormier and Sharon (Paul) Godard; grandchildren, Charlene, Amanda, Gail and Shawn. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Mike had strong family ties and a genuine love of people. Mike always gave a helping hand to his family and friends with his kind and generous heart. He enjoyed music and dancing, playing cards as well as spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. Prayer service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., on Tuesday, February 15, at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 16, at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 390 Marion St., with Father John Mostivsky officiating. Interment Garden of Devotion, Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
