JEROME (JERRY) ANTHONY BEAULIEU Passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, February 10, 2000, following A courageous battle with cancer. Jerry was born April 7, 1935 in Timmins, Ontario, but grew up in Winnipeg. He spent many years in British Columbia and returned to Winnipeg about ten years ago. He was predeceased by his parents, Lucy and Maurice Beaulieu and older brother Carl. He is survived by his wife Carol; daughter Joy Poelzer and her husband Jim; three grandchildren, Luke, Sarah and Nathan, who reside in Maple Ridge, B.C. Also survived by sisters, Kathleen Dmytruk, Marcia Marinas of Nelson, B.C. and Linda Caron of Kapuskasing, Ontario; many step-sisters in Ontario, step-brother in Abbotsford, B.C., as well as his Uncle Ben Pitre and wife Jean of Winnipeg. He will be deeply missed by dearest friends, Denis, Jean, Kim, Dean Delorme and good friend Jack and his Goddaughter Ashley, whom he resided with in Winnipeg. Until his illness Jerry worked at his home improvement business. He was known for his kindness and willingness to assist anyone. Much of his time was spent doing work for senior citizens. He enjoyed travelling, which he did much of as a young man. He also had a keen interest in carpentry, mechanics and enjoyed playing cards. Most recently his main hobby was working at his computer. At Jerrys request there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
