KATHERINE PROCEVIAT Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, our Lord and Savior took Katherine Proceviat home to Himself on February 15, 2000 at the Pinawa Hospital at the age of 77 years. Katherine leaves to mourn her passing her husband Walter of 52 years; two daughters, Margaret (Dennis), Kathleen (George) and two sons, Garry (Joan) and Brian (Bonny) grandchildren, Kevin and special friend Lisa, Jerrod, Craig, Jennifer, Steven, Wesley and Breanne. Also mourning are Katherines sister, Helen Lee and Margaret Leeyus. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Barbara in infancy; five brothers, Oscar, Bill, Herman, Leonard and Walter; two sisters, Alma and Hilma and a special brother-in-law Dan. Pallbearers are Katherines grandsons Kevin, Jerrod, Craig, Steven and son-in-laws, Dennis and George. Honorary pallbearers are her youngest grandson Wesley and granddaughters, Jennifer and Breanne. Prayers will be said on Thursday, February 17, at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Logan and Ada. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Elma, Man. Rev. Deacon Walter Knysh officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Special thanks with gratitude to the nursing staff and Dr. Petkau at the Pinawa Hospital who treated Mom with compassion and loving care. God Bless all of you.
