WERNER BECK Peacefully on March 1, 2000 at the Grace Hospital, Werner Beck of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Maria; his children, Heinz, Sigrid Povey (Ivan), Gisela Runge (Stan) grandchildren, Melinda (Marcus), Michael, Brent and Vanessa and great-grandchildren, Justin, Caryssa and Nathaniel; brother Erwin (Eva) and sister Margot (Willi) in Germany. Werner worked many years at Ideal Brass and Plating Company and later at Coldstream Products Corporation. Werner always had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed family activities at White Lake, Whiteshell where he spent much time camping and fishing. He will be missed by family and friends in Germany, who he often went to visit over the last years. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street at Sargent with interment in Springstein Cemetery. Viewing at the church prior to the service. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
