STELLA DOROTHY RARIE (nee CLARKE) Suddenly, in Victoria, BC after a brief illness. Stella was born in Croydon, England and came to Winnipeg as an early war bride in January, 1943. She worked at the Winnipeg Tribune for many years, retiring when the paper closed. In the early 90s, Stella moved to British Columbia, first residing in North Vancouver and most recently, Victoria. Predeceased by her husband Johnny; brother Dick and a sister in infancy, Stella will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Jack (Mary) and Roy (Stella) and their families in England; son Colin of Kenora, ON; granddaughter Donna Pattullo (Andrew) and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Calum and Cailey. Private cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army in her memory.
