MARIE PRONYSHYN (NEE BEITZ) Peacefully, at the Golden Links Lodge on April 4, 2000, Marie passed away at the age of 84. Marie was born in Winnipeg on December 20, 1915. She was a Winnipeg Gal her whole life. She married Bill on June 29, 1940 and he was the light of her life for almost 60 years. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill; daughter Beverly Birchard and husband Alan from Mill Bay, B.C.; son Allan and wife Kimberly of Winnipeg; grandsons, Matthew Birchard of Vancouver, Donald and his wife Carol Birchard of Westbank, B.C.; great-grandchildren, Christine and Melanie and Maries brother Adam Beitz of Winnipeg. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff and in particular Judy Coleman at Golden Links Lodge for the exceptional care and compassion given to Marie during her seven months at the lodge. According to Maries wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service for her immediate family was held on April 7 at Brookside Cemetery.
