BLANCHE LEONA MARIE BEAUPRE (nee FOREST) It is with great sorrow that we the family of Blanche, announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, April 15, 2000 at Riverview Health Care Centre. She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 45 years Leo; children, Louise (Floyd) Broesky, Paul (Theresa) Beaupre, Richard (Colette) Beaupre, Michelle (Gerald) Carbotte, Carmen (Gerry) Plante, as well as her grandchildren, April (Corey) Friesen, Leo (Stacy) Sutherland, Aislinn, Ashton, David, Daniel, Marc, Kyle, Maegan, Kayla, Nicholas, Keirsten and great-grandchildren, Breanna, and Carly-Jade. She also leaves to mourn, mother Claire Forest; brother Josephat; sisters Rolande (Bill) Homeniuk, and Sr. Simone Forest; sisters-in-law Juliette Forest and Lina Vermette. She will be greatly missed by close friends Stella and Roger Boily, Bernice and Nap Gagnon, as well as many adoring nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Isidore Forest, sisters Gilberte Cormier and Evelyn Monpetit, brothers, Henri, Paul and Camil Forest. Blanche was born February 23, 1935 in St. Malo, MB. She moved to Winnipeg where she met Leo and they were married on April 30, 1955. Her husband and children were the centre of her life. She was a dedicated employee of Dr. W. Longstaffe for many years and later served as the receptionist for Dr. C. Lavoie until his retirement. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren, who she spoiled with her selfless warmth and affection. Mom we miss you dearly, but take comfort in knowing there is a new angel in heaven watching over us. Special thanks to Dr. E. Smil, Patrick Sweeney RN, and the compassionate staff of the Palliative care unit at Riverview Health Centre. Funeral Services will be held at St. Eugene Church, 1007 St. Marys Rd. on Wednesday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Toupin and if time and travel permit nephew Fr. Rheal Forest of Berens River. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morly St., Winnipeg, MB., Attention: 3E Palliative Care. A legacy of love is what you leave, to give us comfort as we grieve. We love you always.
