Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA MINALVINA CRAVEIRO It is with our deepest sorrow to announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Maria Minalvina Craveiro, on May 20, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Maria was born on March 30, 1937 in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal. She was married to Joao Sousa Craveiro in 1958, then had four children and moved to Canada in 1970. She had devoted all of her time to her husband and raising her children, then in later years her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her loving husband Joao Craveiro; her sons, John (Sharon), Emanuel (Shelley), and her only daughter Edwarda (Tony) Sardinha; her seven grandchildren, Kirstin, John, Matthew, Krystle, Stephen, Melissa and Michael. Her brother Jose (Fatima) Adriano and her very close friend and sister-in-law Maria Carvalho and numerous extended family and friends who live in Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Portugal. Our family takes great comfort in the knowledge that our mother will not be alone because she is with her son Jamie whom she missed so very much. The family would like to thank Diane McGregor and all the home care workers for all their wonderful care, also thanks to Dr. B. Macmillan for all his help and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor Unit 3 for all of their support. Prayers for Maria will be said on Thursday, May 25 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin. Interment Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family would appreciate donations be made to Canadian Diabetes Assoc. or Heart & Stroke Foundation. We love you so much and will never forget all that you have done for us. You will be in our hearts for all eternity. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements; 586-8044.
