KATHARINA PRIESS (1908 - 2000) On June 14, 2000 at Donwood Manor, North Kildonan, Katharina Priess (nee Wiebe) passed away at the age of 91. Katharina (Kathy) will be remembered with love by her only son Ernst Priess and Esther and their children, William, Joshua, Jennifer and Ernest Jr. and her other grandchildren, Christopher, Lori-Anne and Kathy and great-granddaughter Rebecca, all living in Ontario. She will also be missed by Kornelius Wiebe, her only living brother in Germany, and numerous nieces and nephews here and overseas. She was predeceased by her other brothers, Heinrich, David and Jacob Wiebe. Special friends Tina Wiebe and Pauline Tofan will miss their loving companion as will many others at 1080 Henderson Hwy. where Kathy lived for nearly 30 years. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Donwood Manor. Rest in peace, Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We love you and will always remember you until "we meet again". Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson with interment in Brookside Cemetery. Viewing on Thursday 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel, and prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to First Mennonite Memorial Fund or the Parkinsons Foundation.
