STELLA PRYSIZNEY (nee POPADYNETZ) After a brief battle with cancer, it is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stella Prysizney on June 25, 2000 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1934 in Wynyard, Sask. On June 5, 1954, she married William Prysizney. Stella is survived by her loving husband William; her daughter Virginia Weretyk (John) her son Garry Prysizney (Debi) her grandchildren, Adam, Jason and Jennifer Weretyk; her sister Helen Zaluski (Ron) her brothers, Norman Popadynetz (Mary), Matt Popadynetz (Hope), and Mike Popadynetz (Jean) her sisters-in-law, Jean Beznoski and Stella Winzinowich; and many nieces and nephews. Stella was a very hard worker and a loving person. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her gardening and talking with neighbours and friends gave her much fulfilment. She loved playing bingo and soon expanded her horizons to road trips to the Shooting Star. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Stephens Greek Orthodox Church, Pleasant Home, Man. Very Rev. Fr. H. Lakusta will officiate. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
