GERALD (JERRY) FREDRICK ANTHONY TOPLINS August 18, 1942- July 22, 2000 It is with deep sorrow the family of Jerry Toplins wish to announce that far too early in his life, Jerry was taken from us at the age of 57. He passed away at his beloved cottage at Echo Bay on Lake of the Woods. Left to mourn and miss him greatly are his wife, Karen, of 34 years and his Mom Dolly. Jerry was predeceased by his father Anthony (Tony) Victor Toplins in 1996 and Shane, his English Springer Spaniel, in 1991. He was employed at Manitoba Telephone System for over 32 years and retired in 1995. All who knew him will miss his smiles, jokes and teasing. Kids loved him and will miss his High Fives. Jerry was a truly great friend who was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone. He lived and enjoyed life to the fullest, his favourite place being his cottage. He was a true outdoor person with many interests. He had a special passion for boats and also enjoyed fishing, golfing and photography. In honour of Jerrys wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Please remember Jerry in your own special way.
