MADELINE (MADDIE) PRITCHETT Madeline Pritchett, beloved wife of Walter, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2000 at Riverview Health Centre, following a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her loving husband of 40 years, Walter; her son Walter Jr. (Nicola) of Whitehorse, Yukon; son Joseph of Sioux Narrows, Ont.; daughter Carla (Lye) of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Bronson, Naomi and Mason; her mother Millie of Beausejour; brothers, Allan (Barbara), Brian (Lila), Mark (Jean), Pat; sisters, Jean, June, Carol, and Elaine. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Ancel. Madeline will be remembered as a hard worker and very loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a very outgoing person who was loved by whomever she met. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Madelines memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
