Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB WASSMER July 21, 1912 - September 2, 2000 Peacefully at the Maples Personal Care Home on September 2, 2000 Jacob passed away. Jacob was born on July 21, 1912 in Germany. In 1954 he moved to Winnipeg where he worked, raised his family and lived out the rest of his days. Jacob was predeceased by his loving wife Maria in 1996 and his daughter Rita. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Johanna (Walter) Paul, Fred (Sharon), Betty (Bodo) Besier and Herb (Beate) ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jacobs family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their loving and compassionate care during his stay there. Fr. Jorge Villegas will celebrate funeral service on Wednesday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with viewing one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in the Garden of Prayer at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
