CHRISTINE RENEE BAKER (BUSS) Peacefully on September 6, 2000, Christine Renee Baker passed away at the tender age of nine, in PICU at Childrens Hospital with mom at her side. She was predeceased by her Grandma Shirley M. Baker, Great-Grand-ma Matilda and Great-Grandpa Henry Buss, Great-Grandma Martha Monkman, Great-Grandma Jeanette Hollingsworth. She leaves to cherish her memory mom Cindy Buss, sister Amber, Grandma Betty and Papa Reinhold Buss. Papa Gerald Baker (Jolanka Ivanic), Aunties Joan, Norma (Danny Wiggins), and Uncle Dale Buss (Sherri McKinnell), Aunty Lorinda, Uncle Eric and John Baker and many cousins. Her Godparents, Raymond Smith (Donna) and Roberta Kitchen. Special childhood friends, Robyn and Shane Smith, Mike, Kim, Dillon, Melissa, Thomas and Matraisa. Special friends, Papa Wally and Grandma Shirley, Chris and Barb Mailey and family, Anita Lussier and family, Cathy and Boz and family, Steve Breddam (Sylvia Hourie), Helena and Denis, Deana, Eddilee, Pearl, and many more too numerous to mention. She will be sadly missed by friends and staff of Wayoata School and Cantebury Park Daycare. A special thank you to Robyn, Sharon and Judy for their guidance through school and Diana at daycare. A special thank you to the staff of CH 5, PICU, Drs. E. and G. McDougall and the many doctors who attended to her over the past three months at Childrens Hospital. Her time was a happy one, thanks to them, (as long as they didnt have a white coat). A special thanks to the Real Care sitters for their 24 hour care during Christines stay in the hospital. Christine enjoyed Barney, Teletubbies, watching football, and dancing to Shania and Paul Brandt. She loved her milk, chocolate pudding and peanut butter. Mom believes Christine had a purpose, and that purpose was to educate. Christine will want all of us to spread the word to be patient when angered even with a loved one and never to allow another child to go through the challenges she faced with courage, strength and perseverance. Mom knows she will have forgiven the two second mistake even if we have not. She will always be wanting us to forgive but not forget. Please do not allow this to happen to anyone else and spread the word for her. She never gave up, her heart did. We love you Chrissy.
