He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Helena and son Stacey, children, Audrey, Stewart, Monique and James, Daniel and Charlene, Anna-Marie and Rick, Dodi and David and their mother Georgie; grandchildren, Cassandra, Stephan, Coralie, Cody, Corbin, Sadie and Haley; numerous uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews and friends; sisters, Edna and Ben, Marge and Boyd, Olga and Bruce of Carman; Lea-Ann and Brent of Killarney; brothers, Mike and Anne of Surrey, B.C., Art and Elaine of Ste. Anne, MB, Larry and Elaine of Stockton, MB; sisters-in-law Laura of Kenora, ON, and Sharon of Winnipeg; brother-in-law Elton of Vassar, MB. Richard was predeceased by his parents, John and Christina Poschner; sisters, Mary and Rose; brothers, John, Eddie and Ernie; sister-in-law Verna and brother-in-law Frank. Richard was born and raised on a small farm in Whitemouth Lake School District. In his early teens his family relocated to Steinbach where he finished his primary schooling. Some of the ventures in his adult life include canoeing and camping as he was a nature lover. He was not afraid to try different things, he was talented when it came to woodworking and construction of various natures. His latest venture was getting his class 1 license and travelling long haul. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, Man. with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of ones choice.
