HEINZ TIEDTKE It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Heinz (Harry) Tiedtke, beloved husband of Ada. Harry was born on October 5, 1917 in Ivanowitsch (Ukraine). From 1946 to 1961 he lived in West Germany. In April 1961 he came with his wife Ada to Winnipeg. There they both joined McDermot Avenue Baptist Church. Harry enjoyed cottage life at Lake Nutimik. Family and friends from all over the world always enjoyed visiting Harry and Ada. Harry was a welder and he liked to utilize his occupation by making ironwork and other crafts for those around him. Harry will be remembered for his commitment to his family. He leaves to mourn his wife Ada; his son Harry and wife Olga; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 12 noon at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Reception and interment to follow. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Nutimik Baptist Camp, P.O. Box 2237, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R5.
