Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY JOHN PROSKURNIAK Peacefully with his loving family by his side, on November 8, 2000 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Harry John Proskurniak passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife Anne of 54 years; and his beloved children, Marian (Thomas) and Mel (Cindy) five grandchildren, Aynslie, Selena, Steven, Andy and Travis; one sister Mary (Bill) of Toronto, and two brothers, John and Alex (Anne) of Vancouver, BC. Harry enlisted in the R.A.F. during the Second World War. During his tour of duty he was shot down and remained a P.O.W. until the wars end in 1945. Upon his return, Harry was self-employed until he joined the Postal Service in 1959, retiring in 1977. His passions were his family and his home. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephens Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave., with Rev. Donna Mahussier officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Stephens Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 0V9.
