RUTH WYLIEMINA BROWN June 27, 1919 - November 15, 2000 Ruth passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 15, 2000. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Elizabeth and her brothers, Walter, Arthur, and Percy. Left to mourn her are sister-in-law Nel Brown; nieces, Valdine Berry (Dale) and Carleigh Storsley (Garnet) and their families. A private family funeral was held November 20, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. In her lifetime, Ruth was a recipient of The Governor Generals Award, worked for the Federal Government Department of Transport in Ottawa, the University of Minnesota, and The Ford Motor Company. Ruth was known as a quiet and private person. She was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the organ. Ruth was at peace with herself and will be remembered as a kind and gentle person who, until she was unable, carried out many acts of kindness to those around her.
