Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPHINE BURT (nee RAUDONIS) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Josephine Burt passed away on December 3, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital. Josie will be lovingly remembered by her mother Kasimiera (Katie) Raudonis; step-son Terry and wife Marianne; grandchildren, Gregory (Susan) Deppendorf, Brigitta (Don) Desjardine; great-grandchildren, Marianna, Sara, Rebeca, Kaitlin and Brendan; very special friends, Bonnie and Jerry Bogacki and their sons, Dave (Stephanie), Glen (Rochelle), Kenny (Kim) and grandchildren. Josie was predeceased by her beloved husband Stan and father Joseph Raudonis. Born in Lithuania she emigrated as a young girl with her mother and father to Canada where the family settled and lived for many years in the Fort Whyte area making lifelong friends. Katie and Josie were devoted to their faith and Parish Church. They especially enjoyed their spiritual friendships with Msgr. Cournoyer, Father Ed Morand and Father Patrick Morand as well as their many friends in the congregation. Special thanks to Dr. Ruth Simkin, the staff on Unit 3 at the Victoria General Hospital and to Father Patrick Morand. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 8, at 11:00 a.m. at St.Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway with Father Patrick Morand officiating. Private family interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made in Josies memory to the St. Maurice Parish School, c/o St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy., R3T 2G6 or to the Victoria General Hospital, 2340 Pembina Hwy., R3T 2E8.
