Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJENNIFER ANGELA POPE It is with great sadness that family and friends announce that on December 5, 2000 Jen passed away while waiting for a transplant in London, Ontario with her mom and dad by her side. Jen was born in Winnipeg on May 16, 1983 and lived her life in Charleswood and Headingley. She attended Pacific Junction, Phoenix, Ness, and John Taylor Collegiate. Jen will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her parents, Cathy and Dave. Jens younger sister Jamie will miss her more than anyone will know and God must have known that Jen would need a big sister to help her sometimes, so he gave her Jamie. Grandparents, Ruth and Ken Bosch, her many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many special friends, including Donna and Andrea, will also miss her terribly. In spite of having C. F., Jen lived a life filled with many good things. Jen loved to travel with her family. She looked forward to camping and visiting her many friends at Blue Lake, where she could be seen soaking up the sun in the boat if she wasnt out tubing or water-skiing. She loved walking on the beach in Mexico during Christmas vacation and lighting fireworks off over the ocean, on New Years Eve. Jen loved animals, reading, writing, shopping, good restaurants and fine food. Jen had a soft spot in her heart for the homeless cats and dogs at the Winnipeg Humane Society and it would put a smile on her face to have donations sent to the Society in lieu of flowers. Donations can be mailed to 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3. The family would like to thank the doctors and especially the nurses in the Multi-Organ Transplant Unit as well as the I.C.U. at London Health Science Centre, London, Ontario. A celebration of Jens life will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Monday, December 11, at 3:00 p.m. Reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. "When it comes to life, the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude." Goodnite Sweety, Luv You! Luv You Too!
