MAE MARY RAZMUS Our dear Mom, Mae Mary Razmus, passed away peacefully and has gone to be with her husband and our dad, Joseph and the Good Lord, this 8th day of December, 2000. Her children, grandchildren and daughter-in-law loved her to the end and will miss her dearly. She is survived by her children, Linda, Fran Boledovic (of Calgary) and Ken and his wife Eleanor and her grandchildren, Laurie, who was grandmas angel and her two fine young grandsons, Bryan and Jozef Michael. Mom was born in Souris, Manitoba on September 27, 1921 and was the eldest daughter of Ludwig and Anastasia Katchanoski. At an early age she moved to Winnipeg where she resided for her entire life. She was the eldest in a family of 10 and is survived by a sister, Lucy Gremchuk of Port Alberni, B.C.; three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom loved her grandchildren, her kitchen and her home. She worked for many years at The Bay and was a member of the Catholic Womens League for over 40 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue where her and Dad were married in 1947. A private family interment will follow the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kristjanson and all of Moms nurses and caregivers on the 5th floor Palliative Care ward at Seven Oaks Hospital. Their care and compassion was very much appreciated and helped immensely in her final weeks in the hospital. In place of flowers, tributes may be made to the Catholic Womens League Charity works or to the CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Wpg., R3E 0V9.
