SARAH BERGMANN 1898 - 2000 On Sunday, December 10, 2000 at Salem Home, Winkler, Sarah Bergmann, age 102 years, of Winkler, formerly of the Gnadenthal District, and Plum Coulee, went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her brother George Bergmann of Salem Home, Winkler; one sister-in-law Helen (Dave) Bergman of Winkler and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters, Annie, Mary, Gertrude, Tina and Lena in infancy; eight brothers, Jacob, Peter, John, John Falk, Cornie, Cornie in infancy, Ben and Dave. Viewing will be today (Tuesday, December 12) at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler (121 8th St.) 1:00-9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler E.M.M. Church (600 Southview Dr.) with Rev. John Bergman and Dr. Jerry Hildebrand officiating. Interment will follow at the Plum Coulee Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Salem Foundation Inc. 165-15th St. Winkler, MB R6W 1T8.
