RICHARD (RICK) NICHOLAS POSELUZNEY It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Nicholas Poseluzney, beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and great friend to all that knew him. Richard was predeceased by his parents, (Nick and Doris). Richard will be sadly missed by his wife Brenda and his children, Jeff, Marissa, Curtis and granddaughter Kendra. Rick will also be deeply missed by step-dad George Butland; mother and father-in-law, Elsie and Charlie Whitehead; sisters, Lynn (Bob), Kathy and brothers, Rob (Rhonda), Kerry (Debbie), Tim (Susan) step-brothers and sisters, Allan (Edie), Keith (Cathy), Colleen (Keith), along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to Richards special friends, Neil Van Ryssel, John Krupinski and Colleen Butland Sample, who have been with Richard through his most difficult times - for this we are eternally grateful. Richard will always be missed by his Uncle John who Richard enjoyed spending time with. Richard was born and raised outside of Winnipeg. He went to work for Otto (who considered Richard a son) at Mandau Plumbing for 14 years, then he started his own business BnR Plumbing which he worked very hard at for the last 20 years. Richard was a very strong willed man who worked very hard to provide for his family. He had a great passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, picking mushrooms and berries. It is our familys hope that Rick will be remembered for the kind hearted man that he was, and for his willingness to do anything for anyone, even if it meant that he went without. Although Richard will be greatly missed, there is now peace within our hearts knowing that he has found his happiness. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. in Oakbank United Church, Oakbank, Man. with Rev. Dawn Ballantyne-Dickson officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Richards memory to the Mood Disorder Society of Manitoba, 4 - 1000 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0N3; The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, 1031 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3G 0R8; or charity of ones choice.
