Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHALDORA BEAUCHEMIN On December 23, 2000, heaven received a beautiful angel. Dora was 81 years old. She was a very gentle, loving person with a strong drive for life. She had the type of face that was so kind you had to smile. Dora was born in Gimli on July 16,1919. After a long vibrant life she heard God calling her and she peacefully closed her eyes. She is survived by her son Bradley; two granddaughters, Ashley and Jade; grandson Lee and great-grandson Austin; her sisters, Frida Hohenstein (Sonny), Ricki Hall (Jack), Regina Black, Hatha Abramson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dora was predeceased by her mother Lilja and her father Jon; her husband Bill; two sisters, Stephanie and Christine; two brothers, Johnny and Fred. Dora grew up in St. Vital with her nine siblings, as time went on they got older and married. Dora married Bill in 1952 . They moved to St. Boniface and she spent the most part of her life there. She worked for Eatons warehouse for numerous years as a stock clerk. In 1955 she was overjoyed to receive a big beautiful baby boy, Bradley. He became Doras life, she attended all his school and sport events, even if though there was many of them. Bradley was married in 1977 and Dora was blessed with a her first granddaughter in 1980. From that day on, her grandchildren became her life, we all became her life. She moved to Rosewood Lodge in 1996 and remained there till her passing. The nurses and staff brought Dora laughter and smiles when her family couldnt be there. Nobody has bad memories of Dora, but we all remember looking in her eyes and seeing all the love shining out. Our Christmas star has never shone brighter, since she is in Heaven. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave. A private family interment will take place at a later date in the St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Rd.
