TOMMASO DAMICO It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Tommaso DAmico on Monday, January 1, 2001 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Mariantonia and sons, Dick (Darlene), Gabriel (Eugenia) and daughter Maria (Tony) eight grandchildren, Tom (Cindy), Kas (Sandy), Marie (Tim), Joey (Sandy), Joanne (Ed), Cathy (Steve), Annette (Darin), Cristina (Troy) and 10 great-grandchildren; sister Maria DAmico; sister-in-law Ida DAmico and many special nieces and nephews. Tommaso was born October 8, 1910 in Amato, Italy, and came to Canada in 1952. On coming to Canada, he worked for C.N. and the Health Sciences Centre until his retirement. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for the special care given Tommaso. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire a donation in Tommasos memory may be made to a charity of their choice. Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, at 11:00 a.m. also in the Church, with Rev.
