Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL JIMENIZ BUSTARDE Peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2001, Daniel Bustarde passed away at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his youngest son Peddey Bustarde who lost his battle with Leukemia last year. He leaves behind his loving wife Timotea of 62 years and his children, Dominador Bustarde (Ligaya), Leonita Galardo, Margarita Mendoza, Melissa Mendoza (Lito), Mercedes Austria, Rod Bustarde (Ida), Sheila Cabrera (Jun), Normando Bustarde (Elvira) and Mildred Bustarde (wife of Peddey). He is also survived by his brothers, Faustino and Claudio and sisters, Modesta, Maura and Natividad. Lolo will be forever cherished by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Winnipeg, the United States and in the Philippines. He was born in the Philippines on September 2, 1915, and came to Canada with his wife and four of their children in December 1976. He enjoyed his retirement years watching his grandchildren grow and traveling to the Philippines with his wife. He will be lovingly remembered by those who knew him, his great sense of humour, his laughter and his smile. Lamay will be held on Thursday, January 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight and Friday, January 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, with prayers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday only in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy St. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27, at 9:00 a.m. in St. Peters Church 748 Keewatin St., with Rev. Msgr. Maurice J. Comeault presiding. Interment will follow at Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital on 4U4, 5U6 and 5U2.
