HELEN BECKER (nee FRIESEN) Helen Becker passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at Bethania Nursing Home in Winnipeg. She was 91 years old. Her husband Rev. Henry Becker predeceased her on October 6, 1993. She will be loving remembered by her daughter Ruth Dyck (Hank) her two sons, Werner Becker (Ruth) and Ernest Becker (Lucille) and eight grandchildren, Aileen and Michael Dyck, Melodie, Chris and Ted Becker, Michelle, David and Karen Becker. In addition, she is survived by two siblings, David Friesen of Gibson Landing, BC, and Sara Abrahams of Winnipeg. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2:00 p.m. at Schoenfelder Mennonite Church, Pigeon Lake, MB. Viewing prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rev. Henry and Helen Becker Memorial Scholarship in care of Westgate Mennonite Collegiate, 86 Westgate, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2E1. Klassen Funeral Home is is charge of arrangements, 338-0331.
