Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS JOSEPHINE COOPER On January 25, 2001, God called Phyllis Josephine Cooper home. She passed away peacefully at Tri-Lake Health Centre at the age of 77 years. She was born February 13, 1923 to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bramwell and on March 21, 1942 was married to Nelson Cooper, who predeceased her in July 1981. Phylliss life was full of caring for others. For someone who had a weak heart it was always very big, and she was always there when anyone needed advice, or a shoulder to cry on. A devoted, loving and loyal wife, she worked hard as a farmers wife but always had time to laugh at a joke or take part in her families activities. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made a wonderful home that they knew was full of love. Phyllis loved to have people drop in for coffee so she could keep up to date with what was going on in the community. She enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in keeping her yard neat and well manicured. She was especially interested in the new curling rink being built in the community. For the past ten years Phyllis was burdened with numerous health problems, but she rarely complained. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Nelson. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her three sons and her daughter; Brian (Lorraine), Guy (Carole), Marlie (Dale), and Joe (Linda). She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Edna (Wayne) Aikenhead and her brother, Gregg Bramwell. Funeral services will be held in Cartwright at All Saints Anglican Church on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Killarney-Boissevain Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
