ARTHUR CLARENCE PRITCHARD On Monday, April 30, 2001 at Red River Place Nursing Home, Arthur Pritchard aged 90 years of Selkirk, MB, formerly of Meadowdale, MB, beloved husband of Grace. Clarence was predeceased by his father Oscar and mother Ethel; brother Wilbert, sister Irene; step-brother Bill, step-sister Marion and step-mother Alice. He was also predeceased by his brother Howard (Rose) Morrison, sister Jessie (Harry) Andrews. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Clarence was born March 30, 1911 at Parkdale, MB. His mother died April 4, 1911. He was then raised by his Aunt Ann and Uncle Rod Morrison in Meadowdale, MB. He loved farming along with his brother Howard and Uncle Rod and also on his own farm. In 1952 he married Grace (Chamberlain). Clarence worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills for a short time. He loved Old time music, dancing and visiting with family, friends and neighbours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel. Interment of ashes will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Andrews Anglican Churchyard Cemetery. Many thanks to Dr. G.R. Fuchs, Dr. R. Lindenschmidt and the nursing staff at the Red River Place, Selkirk for all their excellent care.
