Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREINHOLD (ROY) WEISS November 15, 1911 - February 28, 2001 Peacefully Roy passed away at Tache Retirement Centre on February 28, 2001. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, and daughter, Gladys Keip. He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers; Ed, Paul, Emil, Jack and their spouses. His daughters; Bernice (Isaac) Messinger and Lilly Newberg; son-in-law Hubert Keip; grandchildren Delia, Mona (Morris) Harris, Kim (Tom) Villeneuve, Darin (Colette) Keip and Marion (Lyle) Michaels. Also numerous great and great-great grandchildren. A special thanks to the 4th floor staff at Tache, especially to Ann, Marilyn, Arlie, Guy and Carol. Their compassion and love was greatly appreciated. Roy was a quiet, soft spoken man who will be missed by all that knew him. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 5, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. I remember meeting uncle Roy in the 1950's as a 10-year old or so. I thought the farm was in Steinbach, MB, Canada. He had huge draft horses that my legs didn't even start down the sides of it. I wish I could have known him longer. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. The memorial note mentions he was preceded in death by his sisters... I'm trying to find what happened to Aunt Mae (Mai, May, Maja) who was I think the youngest. She moved to the US and lived all over. I met her once again when she was 60 and she could easily pass for 40! When, where did she die? Is anyone in touch with her son and daughter?
