MICHAEL WILLIAM BURROUGHS Mr. Michael William Burroughs, a resident of Sioux Narrows, Ont., passed away suddenly on Monday, March 5, 2001 at the age of 64. Michael will be lovingly missed by his wife Reta and children. He was predeceased by his parents, William B., and Norah Grace. Michael worked for 27 years in the Provincial Lab and X-Ray Services, Commission of Manitoba until his retirement in 1991. After retiring, Michael moved to Sioux Narrows, Ont., or as he called "Gods Country." Many of his passions were photography, reading, writing and long nature hikes in paths he created with his three dogs, Sam, Megan and Misti. Michael had written several short stories and was compiling information to complete a novel. Michael was a considerate gentleman who kept in touch with relatives and friends around the globe through on a regular basis. Immediate cremation has taken place, a private family service was held. Donations to a charity of choice. The Brown Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
