ARCHIE JAMES THOMAS Peacefully, after a brief illness, Archie passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on March 18, 2001 at the age of 84 years. Archie is survived by his three sons, Larry (Jeanette) of St. Adolphe, Glen (Linda) of Balsam Bay, Dave (Faylin) of St. Adolphe; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His four sisters, Maria, Alvina, Florence and Emily, as well as many family and friends, especially his chummy Bucko. He was well thought of and will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service in celebration of Archies life will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 4:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home with Rev. Fraser Hunter officiating. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the love and care given to Archie during his stay at the Victoria Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Brian Sharkey for his compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Archies memory to the charity of ones choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
