LENA BLANCHE LAND On Monday, March 19, 2001, at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, Man., Lena Blanche Land, aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Clifford Land, of Carman. Lena was predeceased by her husband Clifford Land in 1992. She is survived by two sons, Ron (Valerie) Land and Ken (Pat) Land; two daughters, Bev (Ivan) and Cindy (Wally) Lamirande, all of Winnipeg. She is survived by six grandchildren, Rhonda, Bonnie, Ryan (Carmilla), Shea, Darby (Melissa) and Allison (Wayne) and two great-grandchildren, Cohen and Bronte. Lena is also survived by three brothers, Bud Jackson, Glenn Jackson and Boyd Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews. Lena was also predeceased by one sister Pearl Rinn. Funeral service will be held from the St. Johns Anglican Church in Carman, Man., on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 2B7 or to a charity of ones choice.
