ARMANDO PUPILLO On Tuesday, March 20, 2001, Armando passed away at St. Norbert Nursing Home, at age 73 years. Armando told many stories of his earlier years of when he lived in Quebec and in Alberta. Armando happily resided at Jacks from late 1996 to March 1999. Armando was especially proud to wear the Jacks "jacket", he always said he belonged. Due to closure of Jacks, Armando sadly moved to St. Norbert Nursing Home. He was pleasantly surprised to find the staff and residents were a lot like Jacks, he felt he was part of a "Family". Armando will be remembered as a polite gentleman, who really enjoyed talking with the "Ladies". Armando will be fondly remembered by his friends - Sharon Fotty and Ross Smith. Special thanks to the staff at St. Norbert Nursing Home, Public Trustee Office, Main Street Project, Dr. Carol Wiebe, Home Care, and Jacks. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. This will be at Brookside Cemetery, with Fr. Gary Killen officiating. Funeral arrangements are in the care of LeClaire Brothers at 775-2220.
