Dear son of Mary Baerg-Martens, Stephen James Wegg, and Frank Martens; and dear brother of Jennifer Wegg, all of Edmonton. Also left to mourn are grandparents, A. P. and Barbara Baerg of Perth, ON, Lota-Waynne and Ernest Keith of Toronto, ON and Elinor S. Martens of Winnipeg, MB. Predeceased by grandfathers, Frank T. Martens and Robert Vernon Wegg. Also mourned by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Mike was loved by all who knew him. His long, courageous battle with brain cancer ended just short of his 20th birthday. Mike, I can't believe it's been 20 years since you left us, there aren't many days that go by without thoughts of you drifting in. You were a brilliant writer, a gifted musician and one of my best friends. I still have your guitar and will cherish it always. Until we meet again, my friend.
