GASTON RAYMOND QUEREL Passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years, with his family by his side, on April 1, 2001. Left to mourn are Therese, his beloved wife of 52 years; sons, Ray (Sharon), Edward (Teresa) daughter Suzanne Querel-Gallant (Michael) grandchildren, Meghan, Ryan, Meladene, Stephanie and Pamela; brothers, Gustave (Marie), Michael (Lucille), Denis (Rita) many nieces, nephews, in-laws Gilbert Champagne (Nan), Jeaninne Hanson (Dale) special niece Jeannette Tousignant (Al) and many friends. Gastons love was his family. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. Gaston was a man of few words; who loved the wilderness, hunting, fishing and crib nights. Hell be remembered and fondly missed by all. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Bernadette Catholic Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd., with the Rev. Fr. Fred Olds presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gastons memory to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
