LEO MAURICE PRESTIDGE After a lengthy illness, Leo Prestidge passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at the age of 75 years. Leo was born in Marchand, Man. on August 4, 1925. He is survived by his brother George of Edmonton, Alta., and by his children, May Beloin of Edmonton, Annette Anokuzonski of Mission, B.C., Dee Lawhead of Chilliwack, B.C., Len Prestidge of St. Andrews, Man. and Dave Prestidge of Beausejour, Man., as well as 11 grandchildren. Leo was predeceased by his parents, Eve and Clarence of Marchand and by his sister, Violet Tourand of Winnipeg. Very special thanks to Sharon Fotty and to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre. A memorial service will be held on the second floor of 425 Elgin Ave. on Monday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. Fr. G.R. Killen will officiate. Private interment of Leos cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
