SHIRLEY ANNE RAMSAY (nee DYKER) Peacefully on April 30, 2001, Shirley Anne Ramsay passed away at the Riverview Health Centre with her family by her side. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Allan in 1960 and son Allan in 1982. She is survived by son Robert and wife Jean; grandchildren, Sean, Colin and Alanna as well as one sister Donna Anderson of Nelson B. C. and nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and B.C. She attended school in Norwood, obtained her nursing diploma in Chicago, Illinois and her public health diploma at the U of M. She was employed in several positions with the Province of Manitoba. Many thanks for the years of medical care and support provided by the VGH Oncology Unit. Special appreciation to Dr. Ian Maxwell and Ann Anderson. Thank you to the staff at Riverview for their care and support. At Shirleys request there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be a private affair. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VGH Oncology Unit, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg R3T 9Z9, or the Riverview Health Centre 1 Morley Ave E. Winnipeg R3L 2P4.
