RUBY LYNN RAE (DULDER) 1954 - 2001 Ruby was born on May 26, 1954 in Morris, Man. where she received her elementary and secondary school education. After graduating from high school, she started her working career at the Bank of Montreal in Morris. She continued in this profession after her move to Winnipeg and later to Vancouver, where she worked for several credit unions until the onset of Multiple Sclerosis in August of 1988. Ruby was a conscientious, hardworking person who excelled in her work and at home. She was a friendly, outgoing person who loved the contact with her customers, friends and relatives. Her niece and nephew will always remember the thoughtful birthday and Christmas gifts she sent to them, even as her illness progressed. She enjoyed life and remained strong and courageous in the face of much adversity. Her positive attitude and patience was an example to her family and friends. After spending several years in a Personal Care Home in Vernon, B.C. she expressed the wish to come home to her family in Winnipeg - a wish that came true in August 2000. She spent several months in the Victoria General Hospital and Riverview Health Centre where she received compassionate care. The family wishes to thank Pastors Larry Ulrich, Tim Graff and Gary Russell for the spiritual guidance and help they gave Ruby in her last eight months of life. She died peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2001. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Dorothy Dulder; her brother Don (Marianne) niece Tanya; nephew Ryan, as well as many relatives. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, Main Street in Morris, with interment in the Morris Cemetery.
