VIOLA BETTY PROZYK After a courageous battle with cancer, on May 21, 2001 at the Riverview Health Centre, Viola Prozyk peacefully passed away at the age of 76 years. Viola is survived by her children; Nancy (Marvin) and Bruce (Flo), grandchildren; Shelly, Natalie, Candace and Cindy (Brett), great-grandchildren Brittney, Kariya and Anthony, brothers-in-law George and Mike (Helen) and sister-in-law Fran (Don), as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1999. Viola was a wonderful mother and a very talented women who loved gardening and painting. She enjoyed singing and was a longtime member of The Sweet Adelines. Viola spent many summers with her husband and family at their home in Lac du Bonnet, and loved to travel with Steve. Though she had many interests she filled her life with the time spent with her family and friends. Viola was a caring person who was always willing to help others in any way she could. Viola will be greatly missed and always remembered. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Special thanks to the staff at the Concordia Hospital Oncology Department, staff at Riverview Health Centre and the dedicated nurses from Home Care, as well as a special thank you to all the close friends and family members who where there for her and supported her through this difficult time.
