CARRIE PRADINUK
Date of Passing: May 26, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARRIE PRADINUK On May 26, 2001 at the Victoria General Hospital Carrie Pradinuk passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her daughter Louise Thomson (John) son Ron Pradinuk (Rae OKeefe), four grandchildren, Kent and Blake Thomson, Carey and Hilary Pradinuk (Brad Southam) and Carey and Hilarys mother Susan. She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Catharine Gallant, husband Peter and brother Louie in the Second World War. Carrie was raised in the Angusville, MB. Area. She became active in the community and was always, always involved. She enjoyed curling, and relished the bonspiel circuit in the near by towns, bringing home many trophies. After moving to Winnipeg, she worked at Eatons in Housewares for many years. Anything she did, she worked hard at and did well. She was a helper of people, a best friend to many, and right until the end continued to think only of others. No one could ask for a better friend, mother, or grandmother. She leaves a gaping hole in all of us. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Victoria General Hospitals Intensive Care Unit for their caring and sensitivity throughout, but especially during those final hours. Prayers will be held tonight, Tuesday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Basil The Great Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt Ave. Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. also at the church with Father Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
