Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE PROKOPCHUK Peacefully on Friday, June 1, 2001 in Calgary, AB our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt left us after a short illness at the age of 84 years. Mom was born on September 4, 1916 in Sandy Lake, MB. She was very actively involved at St. Michaels parish as a member of the Ladies League, and the prayer group. Her favourite pastime was playing bingo, doing crafts, and making perogies at the church. Moms passion was her garden, and flowers that she enjoyed sharing with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1981; parents, Frank and Sophia Slyshynsky; three brothers, Alec, Phillip and Mike. Anne leaves to cherish her memory six children, Roman (Stella) of Winnipeg, Bill (Anne) of Winnipeg, Olga (Lloyd) of Vancouver, Jean (Walter) of Gimli, Walter (Shirley) of Winnipeg, Lilly (Jim) of Calgary; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary and Teenie; three brothers, Metro, Steve and Bill; numerous nieces and nephews. Panakhyda will be sung on Monday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day St. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m., also at the church. Rev. Fr. E. Hafichuk officiating. Service will terminate at the church. Interment at a later date Transcona Cemetery. Vichnaya Pamyat KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1020 MAIN STREET 582-0973
