Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY PYZIAK It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Stanley, on Monday, June 25, 2001 at age 76. Stanley was born June 3, 1925 the eleventh child of Joseph and Tekla Pyziak in the farming community of Zbaraz. As he grew older he played an active role on the family farm. In 1953, he married Josephine, a city girl. Together they devoted their lives to raising their family and farming. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Tekla; by his brothers, Alexander, Charles and Kazmir; and by his sisters, Katie, Mary, Frances and Joanne. Stanley will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 47 years, Josephine; and children, Susan (Ron) and their children Laurie, Lea and Logan, Tom (Shannon) and their children, Colton and Carter, Bryan (Susan) and their daughter Carlene, Brenda (Denton) and their children, Serena and Kirk. He is also survived by his three sisters, Josephine Pyziak, Anne Burns and Helen Milko; and numerous nieces and nephews. His love of the land and working with it made it difficult for him to retire from farming. He continued to work the land to the present. Stanley loved to fish and hunt with both family and friends. He was also a very enthusiastic minor hockey league fan, attending most of the kids games. Some of his happiest moments were spent in the midst of his grandchildren or watching Colton or Carter scoring a goal. Stanley always liked to make new friends, stopping to talk to all, yet he managed to keep in touch with the old ones. Prayers and viewing will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Fisher Branch. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception R.C., Fisher Branch with Fr. David Kowalski officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Anthonys Cemetery, Zbaraz. In lieu of flowers if so desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 in Stanleys memory.
